Position Summary

The Associate Service Delivery Manager oversees a number of key functions within their assigned projects to enable the delivery of a high-quality service to clients and to ensure Project & Service delivery processes are adhered to. This position is both an internal and client facing role that requires you to establish and manage expectations within an engagement framework to drive execution achieving a high level of results that meets or exceeds expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the position would have three to five years of relative experience in managing projects made up of teams of technologists and data content teams. The main focus of this role is to provide execution oversight of projects and client engagements ensuring the highest levels of quality, productivity, and efficiency are achieved. Experience in Life Sciences, Capital Markets or Fintech is a plus but not required.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure engagement deliverables are on-time and meet or exceed quality expectations

  • Develop an understanding of requirements and solutions being provided

  • Onboard technology and research team members for new and existing engagements

  • Monitor, control and support service delivery for ongoing client engagements

  • Ensure compliance with Shore’s service delivery processes

  • Ensure engagements are conducted within the parameters of commercial arrangements to ensure compliance to budget and profitability

  • Manage risks and issues related to execution of client engagements and escalate to stakeholders as per firm’s escalation procedures

  • Be accountable for the quality of Service and performance; ensuring future demand from growth and projects is understood and factored into plans for client engagements

  • Produce and publish client status reports to internal and client stakeholders to ensure they are informed and current with the current state of their engagement

Skills & Qualities Experience

  • Experience with project management tools and processes (e.g. JIRA, Agile)

  • Understanding of Project Management processes including budgets and staffing

  • Understanding of data acquisition, quality management, and distribution

  • Understanding and experience in technology including infrastructure and software development

  • A passion for ongoing Service Delivery process improvement

  • Excellent people skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer facing/customer service skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Self-motivated and able to be self-accountable

  • Ability to manage and prioritize and tasks and time efficiently
