Shore Group Joins New Jersey Bankers Association to Support Local Community Banks Modernizing Back-Office Operations

NEW YORK, NY — May 2026 — Shore Group Associates has joined the New Jersey Bankers Association as an associate member, deepening its commitment to the community banking sector and its growing focus on helping institutions across the region address the operational challenges that have long slowed growth, strained compliance teams, and driven turnover in back-office roles.

Founded in 2006, Shore Group spent nearly two decades supporting data-intensive organizations across financial services, insurance, logistics, and real estate. That experience exposed a persistent gap: growing organizations had more tools than ever, but still relied on manual labor for the work that happened between those tools. Reconciliation. Document processing. Compliance data aggregation. The unglamorous, high-volume work that no one wanted to do, but everyone needed done.

In response, Shore Group invested in building Polaris, a proprietary cloud-native automation platform, and redesigned its delivery model around a simple idea: take ownership of the workflow, not just the headcount. Today, the company offers three ways to engage: Managed Solutions, delivering fully managed, SLA-backed operational outcomes; Semi-Automation, pairing dedicated staff with progressive process optimization; and Elastic Staffing, extending client teams with skilled back-office professionals on a flexible, month-to-month basis. All three sit under the same engagement philosophy: prove the value before asking for a commitment.

"We don't sell software and walk away, and we don't just supply staff and hand back the problem," said Dave Macolino, President and COO of Shore Group. "We take ownership of the process end to end. For community banks, that means your ops team stops spending its best hours on manual data work and starts spending them on the decisions that actually require banking judgment. That's the shift we exist to make."

Shore Group's work in the community financial institution space focuses on exactly these areas. Its Automated Loan Document Processing ingests complete loan packages, classifies and extracts financial data across paystubs, tax returns, bank statements, and financial statements, and delivers a clean file ready for downstream system ingestion, eliminating manual re-keying between systems. Compliance workflows are built to produce defensible audit trails by default. Reconciliation processes that consume hours of analyst time are reduced to exception-only review.

"When we talk to operations leaders at community banks, the conversation almost always comes back to the same thing," said Ted Gibson, VP of Banking Services at Shore Group. "They have talented people doing data entry, copy-paste between systems, and compare-and-verify work that could be automated. It is exactly the kind of repetitive, low-judgment work that drives turnover, and it is the first thing we look at when a bank comes to us. In most cases, we can remove that burden entirely within a pilot engagement, before anyone signs a long-term contract."

As part of its NJBankers membership, Shore Group is making its CORE Assessment and peer insights available at no cost to all New Jersey member institutions. CORE, short for Community financial Operational Readiness Evaluation, is a structured self-diagnostic that measures operational readiness across five areas: Organizational Readiness, Data Readiness, Process and Workflow, Technology and Infrastructure, and Regulatory Compliance.

The assessment is designed to help bank leadership teams build internal alignment around operational priorities before committing to technology investments or automation initiatives. Those who complete the assessment also gain access to peer benchmarking insights showing how their operational readiness compares to neighboring New Jersey banks, filtered by location or asset size.

The CORE Assessment is available at no cost to all New Jersey institutions at:
